This psychological thriller is the fourth installment in the Making of Riley Paige Series. As with the previous three books, I enjoyed learning more about the history of Riley and her mentor, Agent Jake Crivaro. There is also foreshadowing of relationship issues between Riley and Ryan as he is not very supportive of her career. This is her first case as an Agent after graduating from FBI Academy. Riley is strong willed and a rulebreaker. Crivaro questions retirement and “passing the torch” as she possesses his unique profiling talent. Both normally doubt themselves and each other as they are still learning to work cases together.

I received a free copy of this book and agreed to give my honest review. I really like this book. Blake is a really good author and comes up with some wonderful storylines. Her character Riley Paige is easy to like and you find yourself rooting for her to get the bad guy! It's a nice easy read and a wonderful way to spend a cozy night snuggled under a blanket in your favorite chair. I highly recommend!

Only thing I did not like about this book was that it ended!! Really enjoy going back to when Riley first entered the FBI and goes on her first undercover operation .. Cannot wait for the next book.
