Nicky is going through a rough time - she cannot solve her sister's case, is uncertain of her capabilities, and is too concerned with her relationship with her partner. This case is a different one, it seems like the perpetrator is kidnapping girls to call attention and to "have a voice". It's a good storyline that would be better if Nicky was not constantly dragging herself down and looking for reassurances. I thank the author for the ARC.

Book 7 in series see FBI agents Nicky & Ken on the hunt for a kidnap victim and a sadistic killer. Off to a sunny island hiding a devious killer sees a race against time and Nickys own safety comes into question.. A real page turner!

Nicky is an agent that seems to be playing a cat and mouse game with a killer. When she gets a tape with his voice on it, that would unnerve anyone. How can she continue in this deadly game, when it has become personal to the killer. Good series that is gripping from the beginning Given ARC for my voluntary review
