When I started reading this book that seemed to just be about an uncle trying to raise his adopted niece I wasnt expecting too many surprises. Many times I was tempted to skip ahead to the end. I literally was brought to tears by how all the characters were healed and given a second chance. No matter how life brings you to your knees, if your heart has even a silver of hope, God can restore anything

A single man has become dad to his niece. Will he fall in love with his Amish nanny? Is she his daughter's birth mother? Kelly is a single woman whose infant daughter was taken and sold by her deceased husband. Will she ever find her? These lives and more intertwine as they seek God's guidance and wisdom to complete their searches

I was so engrossed when reading this book ! When I thought I had something figured out , the Lewis' would surprise me! I truly was amazed and delighted at how they orchestrated the ending for all the characters . Although , I would not at all be disappointed in a couple more books to make an amazing trilogy!

About the author

David Lewis grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He met and married Bev in Colorado, where together they make their home in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, enjoying their three grown children and one grandchild.

Beverly Lewis was born in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. She fondly recalls her growing-up years, and due to a keen interest in her mother's Plain family heritage, many of Beverly's books are set in Lancaster County.
