About this ebook

As the most dazzling debutante of 1811, beautiful and reckless Miss Olivia Templestowe scandalised society when she eloped with notorious rake, Lucien, Lord Farquhar.

Five years later, she's paid the highest price for her impetuosity.

Lucien is dead, branding his wife a whore and unfit mother, and willing the care of their child to a relative.

Now Olivia is about to orchestrate a grand charade to reclaim everything she has lost.

AFTER YEARS ABROAD, fighting for king and country, Max Atherton has returned to the estate he's inherited and to take responsibility for his cousin's child.

When he discovers a young woman, unconscious, on his land, he's fired up with new purpose as love blossoms when he nurses her back to health.

But Olivia possesses a secret far darker than simply her identity.

A secret that threatens the future of the honourable man who has fulfilled her heart's desire.

As Olivia struggles to choose between Max's future, and safeguarding her son's, Max must discover the key to the puzzle that will free them all – before tragedy strikes!

A passionate love story with an intriguing mystery at its core.

"Sweet with heat and hard to beat, Lady Farquhar's Butterfly gains momentum as it builds to a terrifying climax...." ~ Long and Short Reviews

I would've given it 4 or 5 stars if not for the ending. Max should've brought one or two other guys with him. And she was bleeding but he didn't think of taking her to a physician as fast as possible instead he was taking his time and even got into the carriage with her! Who'll drive it then?! The ending was bad but I like most of the plot and how all the mysteries come together. Sad that we can't see a little more of their relationship after the rescue too. Anyway, 3 stars.

it's too long. whereas original story is small. gets boring and repetitive after 150 pages. better just read first 100 and last 50 pages

The heroines triles are tangible in this nicely woven romance. I felt the ending was a little abrupt, all the pain sharing a lille of the happiness would have made the story far more enjoyable for me.
