A collection of stories which originally appeared in color in the short lived (but horrifyingly brilliant) series "Master of the Macabre," an updated homage to Tales from the Crypt and the like. Wrightson's gorgeously detailed artwork lends itself very well to the horror comic genre and the stories he chose to depict are a very welcome read for fans of American Gothic and pulp horror. This collection is a great introduction to the man's work and I highly recommend it.
