I finished the book in just 4 days. I find the story a bit weird or totally weird i must say. The sword competition at the end is too short as the build up to find all the needed swords is too long and some unnecessary really silly competition also included, that was really cringe. I know it's a sword contest story but as an X-Men comic, i wanna see some mutants in action with their own power too. Its a really long and thick book! I expect some classic x-men battle. I got lost and so distracted at some point. "when is the fight going to start?". Even the swords battle at the end didn't satisfy me. Like "is that all?" That's what i felt reading the event. I don't know. For someone who's into an action packed comics, i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. It's like reading the Infinity by Hickman (same writer? Same snooze fest book? 😅) again but this is quite better. Second book by Hickman which i don't like. I really tried to like it just to fit in the hype. But i can't fool myself. Anyway, love the artwork! Always the reason why i'm keeping almost all of my comic books! The beautiful artwork! Only 1 or 2 penciler work is an average for me. But nothing ugly.
