Over a hundred years, an English girl called Beatrix Potter wrote a story in a letter to the son of a friend, a boy named Noel. Everyone liked both the story and the drawings of Beatrix that she ended up writing a book that became known worldwide. After this over twenty books followed, all with stories of animals, and have become so admired that from then until now have never been out of print.
