I enjoyed this, the slooooow burn romance is dragging a bit, although the ending of this book suggests we may be coming to a crossroads. Similarly, the discovery of why her father was murdered is moving with glacier-like slowness (is that a word?). Nevertheless, I enjoy that Electra is a proper 1940s miss, allowing a bit of a kiss and cuddle on the sofa, but no more. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Weaver has worked in libraries since she was fourteen; she was a page and then a clerk before obtaining her MLIS from Louisiana State University.
