About this ebook

The King James Bible for ebook readers, desktops, tablets and phones. Including Old Testament and New Testament, this is a wonderful tool that keeps the scriptures at your fingertips. The translation that became the Authorized King James Bible was begun in 1604 and in 1611 was published by the Church of England, under the direction of King James. The translation was done by forty-seven Church of England scholars, the New Testament coming from the Greek Textus Receptus (Received Text), the Old Testament from the Masoretic Hebrew text, and the Apocrypha from the Greek Septuagint (LXX), except for two Esdras from the Latin Vulgate.

Hi Guys I see a lot of people on hear saying about the atrocities if the old testament. I totally get you and I have struggled for years with that. a book that has really really helped me make light of it all is a book called is God a Moral monster by Paul Conan. Best book I ever bought alongside the Bible. He goes deep in to all the laws of the antiant east and arnswares people like Dawkins and Hitchens and others.

Plus reading about the atrocities and mass killings God ordered in the old testament really puts the jealous Christian God into perspective... I'd be more apt to worship their devil after reading that :(

It was pretty boring for the most part. I liked it when the invisible Man in the sky commits mass genocide against all of his children. And when Jesus slaughtered thousands of pigs after making a deal with a demon.
