About this ebook

Dangerous creatures roam the night, looking for easy prey. Violet has to hunt them down.

Violet is a sorcerer, a huntress, and a vampire who works for a secret organization ruled by the Eylones—powerful immortal sorcerers—that defend humans from the monsters that lurk in the shadows.

When new dangerous creatures stalk and kill innocent young women, Violet needs to go undercover and face the one who stole her from her parents and turned her into a vampire.

Seducing and destroying Ewan has been what kept Violet alive for so long. However, confronting old feelings might not be as easy as she imagines. Especially when her drop-dead gorgeous commander reveals his true feelings for her.

Violet will need to decide if she wants to go back to her old ways or find her rightful place among the Eylones she descended from while doing all she can to find the Vampire King that wants to enslave the world.

The story is pretty good, but moves too slowly. I'm fine with the steamy sex scenes, but they could do with being shorter. Way too many typos. The characters pointing out that the dialogue is cheesy and/or cringy, does not excuse it being so. And it was cringy far more often than when they pointed it out, making it quite clear that it wasn't really on purpose. Still, worth reading. As stated the story is pretty good. Among this type of books it's one of the better ones, to be fair. Rating it 3/5 as an encouragement to the writer to keep on going and honing her craft.

I really liked the story line. I really wanted to see what caused the betrayal and what was gonna happen with the ex. it was aggravating how it ended. with no answer to either one of my curiosities. I feel like so much more could have been done with this book. a lot less sex scenes or not spend so much time on them, and actually put more of that time into other action. I enjoyed the story line but neither curiosity of mine got met. and I'm not that curious to continue with it. so take it how you want. and I didn't find myself falling in love with these characters. the main character made me question her intelligence twice.
