This was a pretty good book. The story was straightforward, with no big twists happening or anything like that. The characters were generally likable. I enjoyed some of the commentary in the book about what it means to be a stepparent or stepchild. It's something that a lot of people deal with. They feel uncertain of exactly how to act with a stepparent or stepchild. I thought it was good that they actually addressed this. Overall, this is a good addition to the series.
