About this ebook

A runaway spell is the most dangerous weapon of all.

Alpha for the few remaining Sea Shifters, Leif’s been playing fast and loose with death for years. Plagued by a poisoned ocean, treacherous sea gods, illness, and bad bargains, he’s learned to roll with the punches. Setting ancient antagonism aside, he joined a group of land Shifters, pledging both his help and that of his pod.

A vulture shifter, Moira embraces her life on Arkady, a small polar cruise ship. She faces problems—ones that may kill all of them—but at least she’s free. No more sneaking around hiding from Vampires and not having enough magic to shift, courtesy of short rations and toxic air.

Leif yearns for Moira, but Sea Shifters don’t mate with their land cousins—ever. Besides, they have their hands more than full. Not only is there no time for love, there’s barely space to breathe as they wend their way through a volatile obstacle field littered with demons, hostile gods, and ancient horrors bent on their destruction.

PRAISE FOR THE BITTER HARVEST SERIES:

“I am a huge fan of this author's work having read quite a few of her different series of books and I was so surprised by how different this book is from her other series, surprised and blown away by how amazing it was and how much I adored this book!!!!” Goodreads Review

“What a cool new world and an awesome story. A spell gone wrong and a cataclysm has hit, trapping the people, shifters, and vampires in Ushuaia. The vampires are at the top of the food chain and everything is dying.” Goodreads Review

“Just my kind of story. The sea, a ship, someone named Viktor to make the story fantastic. He just wants to get back to a life on the sea even though it’s tough. Obviously, it’s not going to be easy. Not to be missed. The audio book has a narrator that has you listening until the end.” Goodreads Review

“Entertaining and I loved the premise! It's been awhile since I've read a vampire book, and I really enjoyed Ann Gimpel's storytelling.” Goodreads Review

What an ending to a fantastic series. Only bad thing is I DON'T want it to end. A lot of action, surprises, suspense from beginning to end. The world building in this series is both fantastic and scary. In this book we also have a first, at least for me, that involves the emotional breaking of a long time shifter bond. But we also have the joy of love and being newly bonded within a "family", a happiness the shifter has never had, or thought she would ever have, in her very long lifetime. If you've read any of this series, you know we have oodles of magic both good and evil in all shapes and sizes. The author brings to life shifters of all types, vampires, mystical creatures, mythical Gods, and of course a human or two. She does this blending of characters in amazing fashion throughout this series, but especially in Redeemed. I will miss the adventures of this amazing Dystopian Urban Fantasy.

A fantastic conclusion to the Bitter Harvest series. If you haven't read books 1-4 run out and get them. Then settle down for a new take on evil, shifters, fae, Gods and Goddess. Moira is a shifter bonded with a Vulture. Leif is a dolphin shifter. They are interested in each other, but sea shifter and land shifters don't mate, more than that, evil is running a muck and that challenge comes first. Our intrepid group heads to try and end the cataclysm of evil. I don't want to post spoilers, some of the comments shared in previous reviews, are spoilers to me. Lets just say there are twists with the Bondmates, the sand can do "wierd" things and the world building continues to amaze. Thank you for the opportunity to read this early. All opinions are my own.
