About this ebook

 Marry me or walk...

Nate Hansen desperately needs a reboot to his playboy image that doesn’t involve women, drinking and fighting. Rehabilitation and building a solid future proves elusive as he can’t land a permanent job until someone mentions local widow Joy Mitchell who's advertising a full-time ranch job. Perfect.

Joy Mitchell is desperate for a ranch hand to help keep her dead husband’s legacy alive out of the greedy grasp of her manipulative father-in-law. Nate’s reputation precedes him, none of it good, but the ranch is running on empty, and Joy make the hard choice. Problem is the job she’s offering isn’t exactly what Nate had planned.

Nate knows what its like to lose everything, but seriously, become a mail-order groom?  But Joy won’t or can’t compromise.

If you read the first book in this series you had met Nate Hansen before and were aware of his pandering ways. .... You know bed hopping. If you have not read the first book never fear you are fine as each book can be read as a stand alone just fine but I would recommend reading Cowboy to the Rescue at some point because well it is good and does explain in depth some of the things that our author tells you about in this book. This is Nate Hansen and Joy Mitchell's story and it is a good one. Oh and do not let us forget little cowboy himself Toby her young son. He is every bit as important part of this story as our two adults. Joy is a widow and is the sole owner of the organic grass fed beef ranch her husband had been working before he became ill. Seems her father-in-law decided he wanted the land after her husband passed away and is doing everything he can to get it. Underhanded methods not withstanding. Joy has resorted to looking for a mail ordered husband as a way to ensure that she keep at least one ranch hand from running off on her. Enter Nate. Now you don' think it would be that easy and simply right? No oh Nope not at all. And the path to anything great is never easy. Our author leads Nate and Joy around the Ranch and town towards love and back but only when we are sure that things are truly where they should be do we get the answer if the three of them can be a real family in the end.

The Convenient Cowboy by Ann B. Harrison The Hansen Brothers #2 Nate Hansen needs a job Joy Mitchell needs a ranch hand that won’t leave She’s at the end of her rope She’s a widow and mother of a toddler She’s running out of steam He might be able to help her on the ranch and keep it away from a conniving relative BUT Is a marriage of convenience really the only way to solve their problems? Read the book and see. I liked the dynamics between Nate, Joy and Toby. The romance was slow growing and by the time they truly sealed the deal they knew one another well enough to have a good chance at a future together. I have to say that I didn’t see them as a couple in the beginning or understand the reason for the marriage as I have in other marriage of convenience romances but it is also difficult to write a more modern day book of this genre with a truly convincing reason for the marriage...or so it seems. The villains were a bit over the top as was Joy’s sister. The plot was somewhat predicable and yet...I did enjoy the story and found myself hoping that Nate, Joy and Toby would get their HEA. Thank you to NetGalley and Tule Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review. 3-4 Stars

A marriage of convenience for both Nate and Joy. Nate needs to redeem himself from his past and Joy needs help saving her ranch from her father in law. I so enjoyed the development of these characters. N.ate will do anything to help Joy and her son, Toby (such a cutie) in saving the ranch. Joy will soon realize that she can open her heart again to Nate. This is the second book in the Hanson Brothers but can be read as a stand alone.
