About this ebook

Ever wonder if mermaids are real?
Skye sure believes. She is one, and she's recounting their history for the young mermaids.

It's a history full of heartache and bad choices, in which a tribe--once holders of the sea's secrets--become a part of their most treasured asset.

Mermaids are real, but what Skye wants to know is if humans are everything she's dreamed of.

A very short story indeed; too short to be able to give much of a review. This is supposed to be the history of how the Mer came to be, but that part is so glossed over as to be almost non-existent. Did the author not develop this part of the story? Then why offer it? The Mer exist, move on but, if you want to tell their history than do so. As for introducing a series in the Mer, it doesn't really do that either.

Haven't read yet, looked at some reviews saying its short, checked the pages. 18 PAGES? THAT'S TOO LITTLE. I'll edit my review when I finish it.

Have you ever had a dream you couldn't shake? It got under you skin and followed you through the rest of your day. Maybe it returned the next night, or even years later. That's the story of my writing career.

Literature has always been an important part of my life, whether as a reader or a writer. I particularly love clean young adult stories with at least a touch (or more) of magic and romance, which also happens to be what I write.

In addition to the books already published, I'm working on revising Antarctic Discovery, the modern uncovering of the Tower of Babel -- and the man who survived. I'm also revising my original novel, Call Her Forth, a tandem dream romance.

Between writing and chasing kids, I enjoy doing all things book. You can find out more at: www.AngeLeya.com
