About this ebook

Alyson's Noël's bestsselling Immortals series has been hailed as "addictive" "beautiful" "haunting" and "mesmerizing." In the second installment, Blue Moon, Ever can bring her family back from the dead—but only if she's willing to sacrifice the guy she loves more than life itself.

Just as Ever is learning everything she can about her new abilities as an immortal, initiated into the dark, seductive world by her beloved Damen, something terrible is happening to him. As Ever's powers are increasing, Damen's are fading—stricken by a mysterious illness that threatens his memory, his identity, his life.

Desperate to save him, Ever travels to the mystical dimension of Summerland, uncovering not only the secrets of Damen's past—the brutal, tortured history he hoped to keep hidden—but also an ancient text revealing the workings of time. With the approaching blue moon heralding her only window for travel, Ever is forced to decide between turning back the clock and saving her family from the accident that claimed them—or staying in the present and saving Damen, who grows weaker each day...

I found this book better than the last one simply because the plot seemed better and more complex. Though the last book was good because you got to learn all of the characters this books was more about the suspense. It's about how Ever is developing her skills but not really concentrating because she thinks she has forever, so its a smack in the face for her when Damen seems to have gone human again. Plus she has to deal with a creepy, forward guy on her trial and her friends seem to have forgotten about her. It seems impossible finding a cure for Damen, especially with two, maybe ghostly, twins confusing her. My favourite part is definitely Summerland simply because its everyone's dream but it's a place full of greed, overall, a really exciting read and keeps you guessing.

I have to say the cold hard truth. This book and series sucks. I started off with Evermore thinking "oh this seems to have all the elements: love, fantasy, mystery. I cant wait to read it." By the end I was thinking "Oh god why did i start this???" Now because i am a dedicated reader i decided to go on with the series. Even if it felt like homework. Ever is immature, whiny, self - absorbed, and shallow. Damen is a shady character, you feel like no matter how much you read you can never truly know him. The plot has no thought, the detail lacking. Overall don't bother with the series. I would have to say 1 star.

Why the heck did she trust Roman, thats just stupid of Ever. Anyway this was ok, evermore was way better. But ever can be really stupid with all her mistakes. I like the new character Roman alot, I hope that he dosnt get killed off, he is more clever than Damen. Off to read the next book... Shadowland! I hope shadowland is better.
