Nothing will ever compare to this book series. They are short, sometimes sad, sometimes gross, sometimes scary, sometimes sweet, and sometimes, unexpectedly funny. but they are still to the point and straight forward. No one will ever know how awesome these books truely were. Especially during the 90s/2000s, unless you were lucky enough to live in that time. I will reread this books as long as I live ❤️ I can't recommend them enough. They are 10/10!

Similar to my comments re: this book series' first book....obsessed with these books as a young'un - as well as all of his others - and as an adult now, know it is one of THE best books ever. Very scary to me as a kid reading it, but also knew even back then and had a deep (and nerdy) appreciation for these also being actual folklore, which is fascinating always. 🖤

Awesome! I loved these books even though they really did scare me at 9 years old. Cold as Clay, Oh Susana, Where's My Toe, just to name a few of the short stories I have great memories of. Definitely recommend to kids and adults with children. Your kids are guaranteed to be in for a scare.
