About the author
Alfred de Musset, geboren am 11. Dezember 1810 in Paris, gestorben am 2. Mai 1857 in Paris, war ein französischer Schriftsteller und Romantiker. Bereits im Alter von achtzehn Jahren gehörte er dem Dicherkreis "Cénacle" um Victor Hugos an. Mit zwanzig wurde sein erstes Buch veröffentlicht. Er schrieb Romane, Gedichte und Theaterstücke.
