I enjoyed this book after having watch the series Turn. It has opened my eyes to just how close America came to never becoming their own country. So many details happened during those years which favored the colonies instead of the Crown, luck, greed, bravery, etc. This book and series has made me study further into the lives of Washington, Adams, Arnold, etc. The more I discover, the more shocked I am at how the same greed, political corruption and power seem to plague us today.

If you love historical books you will love this.
