A deep, well-woven and wonderfully illustrated novel about a totalitarian government and its anarchic nemesis, where liberty and justice are but pre-war memories and the ever watchful State crushes down dissent and plurality with an iron fist. Heavy on philosophical, social and political topics, V has its proper place amongst the classics.

Will definitely give 5 stars when I'm able to finish the last few pages. I would have done so already but Google books constantly crashing has rather ruined it for me. Please fix this Google, cheers.

And so far just in the free sample I can tell its the same book. This is well worth the heavy sticker price considering how amazing the REAL story of eve and V is. Remember remember the 5th of november
