About this ebook

Gamer girl Kotone is thrilled when she receives a copy of Free Life Fantasy Online, a.k.a. FLFO from her younger sister. In the world of FLFO, Kotone decides to become a zombie, one of the game's inhuman races that's difficult to master--even for experienced players. But that's not a deterrent to Kotone. In fact, when she embarks on her first quest, she finds a world of wonders that are about to become a huge part of her IRL life!

Starts as an interesting concept for a setting that has already been done a thousand times. But the complete lack of story or excitement is killing me. So much of this story is spent on nonsense. Grinding and wildly unnecessary levels of detail on things that have zero impact on what little story there is hurts the experience. I want more from this, but I'm on book two and nothing seems to be picking up even a little bit. It also gets really hard to follow dialogue, since the author neglects to provide details on who is speaking and often just follows one quote with another, then another. It feels like more of the same over and over.

The overall concept was very exciting to read, however poorly executed. The author seems to struggle to remember what they wrote in previous chapters. The MC has no real struggle or fight. None of the characters have any real depth. Everything feels samey and all problems are "problems" but somehow not a problem even within the same paragraphs.

very bad translation it inserts western political buzzwords. they remove words such as female instead it's feminine. that is only one of the many things that seven seas entertainment has changed. its Ironic the name of the publisher is what you should sail if you want to read this series because don't pay for localizers slop.
