Ajahn Chah was a famous Thai Buddhist Monk and influential teacher of Buddhadhamma. He is also the founder of two major monasteries in the Thai Forest Tradition. Ajahn Chah is respected and loved as a man of great wisdom and was also instrumental in establishing Theravada Buddhism in the West. The Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah had begun and spread throughout Europe, the British Commonwealth, and the United States in the beginning of 1979 with the founding of Cittaviveka. The inspirational Dhamma talks have been recorded, translated and transcribed into several languages. His disciplines have widely circulated his thoughts and ideas on the truth of life. Ajahn Chah’s words and concepts in regard to the truth of life are still remembered and taken as valuable life lessons.
