卡洛．科洛迪（1826-1890，Carlo Collodi）

出生在義大利的一個廚師家庭，原名卡洛．羅倫西尼，科洛迪是筆名，他一生中曾寫過許多短篇小說、隨筆、評論；然而最受歡迎的還是他寫給孩子們看的童話故事，評論家甚至說《木偶奇遇記》所擁有的讀者群及銷售量，可媲美《可蘭經》及《聖經》了。
