أنا ابنُ ذلك الحي الشعبي البسيط...
الشاب العشريني الذي كنته، قررت أن أحكي "حواديت" حَيِّنا وعلى رأسها "حدوتة" الشحات أو كما درَجَ أهل الحي بتسميته شِحتة.
فعندما يغضب منه أهل الحي يسمونه "الشحات" وإذا رضوا عنه نادوه بـ "شحتة".
لا يهم مَن أنا، لأنكم لَنْ تجدوا لي "حدوتة" بين ثنايا الحكي.
أنا أحكي حكايتهم هم!
