تك تك.. كادت عقارب الساعة تشير إلى منتصف الليل، حيث الظلام الدامس في أحد شوارع المدينة المليئة بالضباب. صبي في سنِّ المراهقة اسمه (نورمان) يتصبَّبُ عرقًا، يحملُ حقيبةً سوداء ثقيلة، يهروِل في أحد الممرَّات يبحثُ عن زرٍّ أحمر اللون.. "أين هذا الزِرُّ اللعين؟ أين هو يا ترى؟" يتلمَّس الجدار بيديه المنهكتَين، وفجأة يشعرُ بشيءٍ ملمسهُ مُريح.. يصرخ بلهفة: "ها قد وجدتُه!"، وقبل أن تضغط يده على الزِّرِّ، إذا به يسمع صوتًا بريئًا يناديه بـ: "نورمان.. ها قد وجدتُكَ!" فيا ترى ماذا يحمل هذا الزِّرُّ في طياته؟ وهل سيستطيع نورمان تجاوُز ما قد يواجهه؟
