I liked reading the book, I'm not sure if this is what the writer intended but I was sooo angry for catling all the way through. Her husband Tom! Acting as if he's made a tiny slip and she should get over it, and her sister! I mean cat has no one she's isolated in a crumbling world.

Mel McGrath is an Essex girl, the author of the critically acclaimed and bestselling family memoir Silvertown. She won the John Llewellyn-Rhys/Mail on Sunday award for Best Writer Under 35 for her first book, Motel Nirvana.
