Katie Alender was born and raised in Florida with her three siblings. She attended an arts high school, focusing on writing and video production, and continued her education at Florida State University, majoring in film. She lives with her husband and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Los Angeles, California.

Johanna Parker, an AudioFile Earphones Award winner, has earned an esteemed Audie Award and three Audie nominations. She has received high praise for her work in all genres, including her portrayal of Sookie Stackhouse in Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire Mysteries series.
