Ratings and reviews

The book itself is a good story. the narrator (Jonathan Davis) is sub-par at best. His voice rarely changes per character unless it's digitally altered for an alien or 3po, his Han and Leia sound far to similar, especially noticable since their conversations together feature heavily in this book. Davis is a good story detail narrator, but his character voice work is very "Meh". I hope in the future that the Star Wars audiobooks are almost exclusively read by Marc Thompson or Sam Witwer, they're both on a different level than Davis. At the end of the day, the story is good (not great). The author's other SW books are far better, but it's definitely worth a listen/read due to some of the connecting tissue between the OT and the prequels.
