This is the third book in the Vengence and Vampires series. I would highly recommend starting with book 1 then 2 before picking this one up. In this series you will find vampires, shifters, Witches, and hybrids. It is a fast paced urban fantasy adventure with a strong heroine. Narration was great and brought the story to life. There are some twists and turns I did not see coming. I stayed in the edge of my seat hoping Rae would find her sister. I won’t lie, I was a bit stressed throughout this book. Rae was really crazy to go look for an island of Souless vampires. This book is very well written and the story flows at a great pace. It does conclude at a good note but with a cliffhanger to keep us wondering what will happen next.

This series just keeps getting better and better!! Rae finally finds herself on the island to seek and destroy Valkos. Except that her plan goes awry and she is captured instead. Rae finds herself in a position where she is questioning herself. Will she dig deep and find herself? We also meet a few new characters in this installment and we see a few of our old friends as well. Looking forward to listening the next installment. The narrator did a fabulous job portraying all the characters.
