Book 2, doesn’t disappoint. I listened to the audiobook and very much enjoyed it!! Rae is a great character. I loved how she is a relatable character to a lot of people. Many of us doubt ourselves and when we finally get our stuff together the things we can accomplish is fantastic. This is what we see Rae do. You can certainly see her character grow in this book. We end up discovering a lot about Rae in this installment. I loved to see how her relationship has grown with the group. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book!!

The plot thickens and everything gets more intense! There are major decisions to be made and many are not pleasant. The world is in danger and Rachel and her new family have to work together to stop a power hungry vampire. Narration is excellent and brings the story to life. The story becomes more intense and not everything is what it seems. Rachel is torn between saving the world or going to rescue her sister. It is a fun and wild rollercoaster ride. This second book is packed with lots of action and more twists and turn at every corner. This series is Urban Fantasy at it’s best! You do not want to miss it if you enjoy witches, vampires, shifters, suspense, action, intrigue, danger, mystery, and a touch of romance. The story wraps up before I’m ready for it to conclude but I’m so looking forward to see what direction the story will go next.

Book 2 picks up where book 1 left off. From start to finish the book is packed with action. Ready to start book 3 to see what happens next!!
