The Story is fantastic, Morgan's writing is imaginative and descriptive and she has a wonderful way of making you feel that you are there, watching everything. The three star rating is for the chap narrating, I'm struggling to get through it, having listened to all the previous books read by Wayne Farrell I have pictured how the characters look and sound, now their names are mispronounced ('Jan' is as in Leeming rather than 'Yan') and some have developed dodgy accents. It's very off-putting!

Loved this series until I got to this book. The original reader was amazing. The new/changed reader is very off putting. Simply the change in reading style is difficult to follow. Mispronounced /differently pronounced names/words, seemingly rushed reading, and odd accents not fitting with the last 4 books makes it very hard to get through. The new reader would have done it some justice by listening to the first few books to keep with continuity at least. I'm only on chapter 3 and am already considering returning the book and not bothering with the last. Too expensive for playing around with changing readers at this point.

Paid and downloaded book, but could only listen up too chapter 3, why is that? Didnt like the new reader so much, he rushes through the story and dont read with the passion the first reader read with.
