This book just wasn't it. there are some good parts but the whiny "why aren't they listening to me" when all three are discussing what the killer's next step was just put me off. Also this narrator imo is so bad I've tried time and time again with her but she's just awful. 2 stars for some good chapters.

The story is okay. As is typical for Blake Pierce, there's some factual inconsistencies. Don't know whether she maybe just doesn't have a very good editor or what, but anyway. Maybe it's simply poor research. She says at some point that Charlie carries a Glock 9, but then later refers to his revolver... Glock doesn't make revolvers. A revolver is a completely separate kind of pistol. I feel like a good crime author should know that kind of thing.

Terrible! The story wasn't great but the narration, asful. Almost didn't finish it and i have no desire to listen to the rest of the series
