ok so I have all yhe alex cross books and I don't know people have so many negative things to say about the story and about carry hyte as narrator. the only thing this book was missing is sound effects and music wich all the other books had. certain sound effects and music depending on yhe scene gives a sense of urgency and gives you a more vivid feel for what you are hearing. the narrator did a good job however I do feel Michael boatman is the best guy for the job I really wish he would redo all the audiobooks he just does the best job at using different voices for the characters. the book was great it was just lacking in impact due to the lack of sound effects. hopefully the unabridged version will have what this one was missing still gives e a 9 our of 10!

No spoilers; but you could almost "Smell" the plot points.
