This is book 2 in the Modern Fairy Tale Duet. This particular duet definitely has a beauty and the beast vibe. Is this the happily ever after that Erin and Blake have been hoping for? There is a little bit of drama but not as much as the first book. I think Erin and Blake both have to believe they were deserving of one another. Erin really had some hang ups with money or lack of. Obviously, that mostly had to do with her mom. Blake had to get over his beast like appearance because of what happened to him. There is a happy ending for Blake and Erin. For everyone? I received a free copy of this audiobook and voluntarily left this review.

Audio review Both narrators were great . Stephen at times was very emotional when it came to certain scenes. Book two of Erin and Blake. We get more insight of Blake's past from his time leading up to injuries and his relationship with his parents. Erin finds a different side of herself and Blake lets himself go in many ways.
