This was actually a great story, liked the character development and was enjoying the book as a whole. However only gave 3 stars as the audio quality is horrible, and I'm not talking about the auto narration which is bad enough, but the squeals and feedback that made it really hard to listen to. However the story was enjoyable enough to persist with - I would have liked to get the next book, but am not paying for something that might have the same terrible quality. Such a shame.

I fell in love from the get go. I finished this audio book in one sitting. The story is fantastic, the characters are outstanding (especially the protagonist), the character build made it so you could connect with them and feel for them in such a way I haven't experienced in some time. The narrator was fantastic! I wish I could only a physical copy of this book and read it over and over. I will certainly be purchasing the next few in the series and look forward to it! This book was a gem to find and I'm so happy to have found this author. It is worth a listen or read!
