this book was ok ending was extremely rushed and wasn't very satisfying and not up to the usual standards of the previous books in the series but it's still a good read.

John began writing Ranger’s Apprentice for his son, Michael, ten years ago, and is still hard at work on the series and its spinoff, Brotherband Chronicles.
