Ratings and reviews

I'm starting to feel that this girl is like a carnival ride. Everyone gets a turn. It's really the mark of an inferior author that supplements good plot development with saucy love scenes instead, and this book has a lot of saucy love scenes. I guess that's how this author fills his/her pages. It's also starting to read like an intro to Wicca or some form of neo paganism. I prefer to distance myself from most religions (Wicca, Christianity, Buddhism, etc) and I feel like this goes a little too far down the rabbit hole for my enjoyment.

P.C. Cast is an award-winning fantasy and paranormal romance author, as well as an experienced speaker and teacher. With her daughter Kristin Cast, she is the author of the House of Night novels, including Awakened, Burned and Hunted. Cast was born in the Midwest, and as a girl fell in love with mythology. After high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force, then taught high school for 15 years before retiring to write full time. Caitlin Davies is a New York City-based actor and audiobook narrator. Davies specializes in audiobooks for teens and young adults, including the House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast. She has performed in New York and regional theaters and is a member of the WorkShop Theater Company in New York City. She has a bachelor's degree from Vassar College, and has studied acting at the Eugene O'Neill National Institute, the British American Drama Academy, the Barrow Group, and Brown University/ Trinity Rep.
