rushed, no emotion the reader has a pleasant voice but she seems to rush through the text. there's no pause for dramatic effect and no change in pitch to express thought or emotion.

Voice is horrid. high pitched, the s snags at pitch. Just horrid for this type of story. got thirty seconds in and had to shut it off.

the app that the book is on is unique in the narrators expression towards words I give this book a grade of a four and a half to five it's a good reason especially when you don't have to read it yourself. LOL

About the author

Washington Irving (April 3, 1783 – November 28, 1859) was an American short-story writer, essayist, biographer, historian, and diplomat of the early 19th century. He is best known for his short stories "Rip Van Winkle" (1819) and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (1820), both of which appear in his collection The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. His historical works include biographies of Oliver Goldsmith, Muhammad and George Washington, as well as several histories of 15th-century Spain. Irving served as ambassador to Spain from 1842 to 1846.
