Enjoyable stories, thought-provoking ideas, and relevant concepts. I enjoyed listening to this book as I was running. The fact that many of these principles show up in other books of the same type verifies their necessity for endurance running. I don't usually listen to audiobooks twice, but I found myself drawn back to this one in less than a year. It will be one I keep coming back to. It was also moving watching the author and his father in The World's Toughest Race, having already read this book. I look forward to any other books written by Travis Macy on this or similar subjects.
