I would be able to say that I have listened to a huge variety and number of Audio Bibles. Of all that I have listened to, in my opinion this is the best dramatised version currently available. The pacing is so much better for consideration and mediation - The whole bible if you get the New Testament as well comes in at over 98 hours to read, many other audio bibles are much more hasty - taking around 80 hours or less. The voices are manifold, but all are crisp and clear and well annunciated. Different voices for various characters - all acted with passion and gravitas. I particularly enjoy the calming voice of Michael York as the voice throughout the whole. The dramatisation is superb, the sound effects are timely and compelling bringing emotion and adding to the impact of each scene. The 1st 3 chapters of Ezekiel for example When God appears in burning vision is excellent. In a word - if you love the Word of God - or are just starting out in bible reading get this, and enjoy the majesty, the splendour, the richness and divine love found on these 'pages'. Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
