Clarke is half right. Violence in the community is a huge problem. but he sugar-coats how police often behave and why many law-abiding tax=paying black people fear the cops. Check out how many expensive cars in white neighborhoods are puled over. You'll find mostly mediocre of shabby cars. People in those fancy cars are pretty much immune and they know it. Now a fancy car driven by a black person is another matter. The actress Neicy Nash's adult son, who is black was recently stopped by police for "rolling through a stop sign" (like white people don't do that 100 million times a day) and asked, what do you do, how can you afford this car? That's total racism. A lot of cops can;t believe that black people can have a lot of money unless they are criminals. Clarke doesn't deal with that because guess - he gets rich from conservative white people who buy his books. If he told the WHOLE truth they wouldn't like it and his lifestyle would go kaput.. The fact is that Black and blue lives both matter.

some great insight from a good man. while listening I wondered where he would be if his father had not been there... quite possibly he would have been another tragic statistic. I would love to shake hands with his parents and say well done and thank you!

distinction of conservative or republican and the true belief of why a law enforcement officer hopes to express and instill to the people he or she choses to protect. thank you.

He was honored with the 2013 Sheriff of the Year Award from the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, and in 2016 he was named Law Enforcement Leader of the Year by the Federal Law Enforcement Officer Association Foundation (FLEOA). He is a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and received an M.A. in Security Studies from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Center for Homeland Defense and Security.
