About this audiobook

Persephone's relationship with Hades has gone public and the resulting media storm disrupts her normal life and threatens to expose her as the Goddess of Spring. Hades, God of the Dead, is burdened by a hellish past that everyone's eager to expose in an effort to warn Persephone away. Things only get worse when a horrible tragedy leaves Persephone's heart in ruin and Hades refusing to help. Desperate, she takes matters into her own hands, striking bargains with severe consequences. Faced with a side of Hades she never knew and crushing loss, Persephone wonders if she can truly become Hades's queen. Contains mature themes.

4 cuz the moments in which Persephone & Hades try to hurt each other instead of communicate to one another was a lot. I wish there was more of Hades POV, it would give some more clearly on his actions. I've read the other reviews. For me personally, I've seen people act in these ways and it is frustrating as hell, especially being in a relationship or seeing people's relationship like this. But some relationships unfortunately are like this. Anybody's relationship can be improved on & that is something I enjoying listening to in this book. Showing that even God's can come situde from the emotions that all us humans have on a daily. Is something that applying to Hades especially given how long his existence has been. With treatment of women in history, it's really interesting to see him change points perspective cuz of Persephone more present in her life that she never got from her mother & wants with him.

I like the story but Persephone just kills me with how she doesn't think before she acts. I understand she wants to help but she really does make things worst. Good story though.
