Ratings and reviews

The writing is good enough to keep the story flowing for sure but I almost stopped listening because the narration is so poor. Monotonous like she is reading a technical manual in her head. All the characters' voices are read in the same monotone. No enthusiasm, just an uninterested rush to get the reading over with.

Book is good but the narrator is so bad that I nearly gave this 3 stars. Really bad. If she made errors she should have just gone back to redo the chapter. Repeating lines is lazy and unprofessional. Update: I finally finished the book. I'd like to reiterate - the narrator is shockingly unprofessional.

The storyline is completely unrealistic and would only fool people who have 0 knowledge of police procedures! This book has been assigned to the DNF list. If I wanted to listen to high fantasy, I'd have listened to The Witcher and not an FBI book! 🤨
