Harvey is saved from drowning by a Portuguese fisherman but can neither convince them to take him swiftly to port, nor assure them of his wealth. Disko Troop, captain of the boat We're Here, offers him temporary admission into the crew until they return to port. Eventually, he becomes accustomed to the fishing lifestyle and its rewards in comradeship. A fascinating read!
