They knew each other back in high college and they had a big falling out when Lee hurt shayna. Years later she is hired onto his team to be a physical trainer and Lee is determined to win her back. I love how strong Shayna is. She didn’t forgive him easily and she made him work for her forgiveness. I also really liked Lees genuine character

While this isn’t my first book by Piper Rayne, it is my first sports romance and boy was I delivered a touchdown read! Second chance, enemies to lovers, workplace romance…yes, yes and yes! You Had Your Chance Lee Burrows was hilariously entertaining, funny, sexy and sweet! The audio is a must listen. Callie Dalton and Joe Arden were a dream, absolute aural perfection and truly brought this story to life.

Only a select few authors can make me forget my dislike for sports romance and with You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows, Piper Rayne moves to the top of that list. Shayna and Lee turn frustrating into funny while walking a fine line between heartache and temptation. With the edition of Arden and Dalton, personality leaps right off the page and into your heart. Frustrating has never been so irresistible.
