Philip Pullman is a phenomenal writer, and he is a terrific narrator for the series as well. The voice cast is mostly strong, especially Lyra's actress, and even the weaker voice actors still do a good job of bringing the story to life. The conclusion of the series hit me right in the feelings when I first read it in middle school, and it still holds up now that I'm in my 30s. Highly recommend it!

An utterly life changing experience. A story with emotional depth and incredible heart. Pullman has the ability to create characters more real than real life. The perfect conclusion to a masterwork. Absolutely genius.

Beautiful work for a series that I don't know who I would have been without.

PHILIP PULLMAN is one of the most acclaimed writers working today. He is best known for the His Dark Materials trilogy, which has been named one of the top 100 books of all time by Newsweek and one of the all-time greatest novels by Entertainment Weekly. Pullman was knighted for his services to literature in the 2019 New Year Honours.

The Book of Dust, Pullman’s eagerly anticipated return to the world of His Dark Materials, will also be a book in three parts. It began with La Belle Sauvage and continues with The Secret Commonwealth.
