Absolutely excellent. If you know some Spanish, you'll learn more amazingly fast. I can't speak to the effectiveness for a complete newbie, but my guess would be that it's also very good.

I finished 7chapters of this book at this time, though the trail doesn't give any clue about the book, but let my words explain it to you. It's basically a Spanish class where the teacher explain the lesson through the phone. The book is really amazing and the audio deserve the every single dollar that I spent on, good on your learning journey and excuse my bad English.

This tape will change the way you view languages. I had previously written off languages as something I'd never be good at but Paul Noble's beginner guide has changed the way I learn langauges. And has greatly encouraged me to keep learning. Paul Noble explains things in a really understandable, easy to follow way. At no point have I felt out of my depth but yet I have learnt SO much- I can actually have a conversation in Spanish thanks to this audiobook. In just 13 hours of listening to this tape, I have learnt way more than I did sitting in a classroom learning German in school for five years. I will definitely buy the intermediate audiobook! Who is Paul Noble?
Paul Noble left school unable to speak a language – he found that the traditional learning methods left him feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. Determined that there must be a better way to learn, Paul spent years devising his own unique method of learning languages which cuts out all of the grammar, all of the rote learning, and all of the stress. He began using his method to teach in his Language Institute and, hundreds of students later, he prides himself on never having had a student fail.
