Basics, phrases and grammar without all the writing. The whole point is to get you speaking mandarin by teaching you the basics through not just repetition, but recall as well. I like that 2 accents AND a male and female voice was used to provide variety. I'm glad it additionally features a little pdf booklet with the things covered, written in pinyin too.

absolutely the best learning experience of the language, I'll specifically point out that no fancy language terms like adjectives or verbs are needed to start learning, it's so easy to gain confidence and stay very motivated the way this entire course is set out. immediately learning useful words and phrases instead of weeks of pronouncing the word horse 4 ways, I highly recommend this audiobook

Very helpful. Uses words that you've learned at the beginning throughout, so you're not stuck on anything and it quickly gets in your head. Calm and gentle narrator makes this an overall enjoyable experience.

About the author

Paul Noble left school unable to speak a language – he found that the traditional learning methods left him feeling ‘confused, incapable and unable to really say anything’. Determined that there must be a better way to learn, Paul spent years devising his own unique method of learning languages which cuts out all of the grammar, all of the rote learning, and all of the stress. He began using his method to teach in his Language Institute and, hundreds of students later, he prides himself on never having had a student fail.
