About this audiobook

New York TimesĀ bestselling and Newbery Medal-winning author Neil Gaimanā€™s modern classic,Ā Coralineā€”also an Academy Award-nominated film

""Coraline discovered the door a little while after they moved into the house....""

When Coraline steps through a door to find another house strangely similar to her own (only better), things seem marvelous.

But there's another mother there, and another father, and they want her to stay and be their little girl. They want to change her and never let her go.

Coraline will have to fight with all her wit and courage if she is to save herself and return to her ordinary life.

Neil Gaiman'sĀ CoralineĀ isĀ a can't-miss classic that enthralls readers age 8 to 12 but also adults who enjoy a perfect smart spooky read.

Coraline is a fantastic children's book that was also adapted into an excellent movie. The movie is quite close to the book but adds a boy character (Wybie) and tones down the creepiness by maybe ten percent. The book is a great read for adults and kids. Neil Gaiman's reading of his own book is terrific. He has a lovely voice, and he also captures the spookiness of certain scenes very well. The audiobook is a fine way to enjoy this story, either alone or with your kids.

The book was alright. I was expecting it to be very creepy and more harsh than the children's movie, but it ended up being exactly like the book, with the exclusion of Wybie in the book along with some extra scenes. The voice wasn't all that exciting, and it ended up being just alright. I may have hyped it up too much because I was expecting it to be just so much creepier and it wasn't even close to being any scarier or intense than the film.
