Commanding the Tides is Book Two in the Lords of the Abyss Series and is Cassandra and Iason’s story. The main characters are really likeable (the good ones that is), the story still unfolding where the ship has been attacked and Mer Hunters save Bridgette and Cassie and bring them to their domed city beneath the waves...the world building is fantastic! Rebecca Cook does a great job narrating the story. I am so looking forward to listening to the next book in the series, Captive of the Deep.

This is Cassandra and Iason story. Cassandra is ill and when the boat is attacked and she is saved by Iason, she is not happy. What will happen when he finds out he would have to save her by his magic or she will dye? Will he take the chance and save her? Will he be sent away from his home doing this? Can Cassandra accept it if he does?. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
