I learned nothing about parenting from this book. It is packed with arguments without evidence and parrots unhealthy stereotypes regarding men. Big yawn on this one. I feel sorry for families who have taken the author's advice. Also, the reader says words that end in the letter 'd' as if they end in the letter 't'. This is especially distracting since the book is about dads.

About the author

Meg Meeker, MD, has spent more than twenty years practicing pediatric and adolescent medicine. She is the author of several books, including the bestselling Strong Fathers/Strong Daughters: Ten Secrets Every Father Should Know; Boys Should Be Boys; and Your Kids At Risk. She is also a popular speaker on teen issues and is frequently heard on nationally syndicated radio and television programs. Meg lives in northern Michigan with her husband and four children.
